Elon Musk may have just revealed that one of the biggest business decisions of his life was deeply personal
A user on X claimed that if Musk’s child Xavier had never transitioned and become Vivian, he probably wouldn’t have bought Twitter or become so involved in politics.
Musk’s response?
“True.”
For those who don’t know the story, Vivian Jenna Wilson was born Xavier Musk and legally changed her name and gender in 2022. She also publicly cut ties with her father, saying she no longer wanted to be associated with him.
Since then, the relationship between the two has become one of the most public family conflicts in the world.
Now Musk is essentially admitting that this personal fallout helped shape decisions that affected millions of people online.
It’s a pretty wild thought.
One family dispute.
One billionaire.
One social media platform.
And potentially a completely different direction for the internet.
Do you think personal experiences should influence major business decisions this much?
