Our pets, our ever-active fur-friends, always seem to find the busiest “jobs” in our homes. Engaging in tasks such as ripping open Christmas presents prematurely, overturning a flower pot, or rolling around in a puddle. All we can do as owners are to laugh it off, pardon them and take photos of their shenanigans.

I had just received a gigantic teddy bear from my boyfriend. My cat despised it from day one— it was subject to constant attacks and biting. One day I found a paw torn from it by my little assassin. Within it was a small box containing a ring with a note, “Will you marry me?” Apparently, my boyfriend had sewn it in there for me to discover in the future. However, my cat had other plans and accelerated the process.
Our lives would indeed be far more mundane without these delightful pets.
