Akon says one woman was never enough for him

The singer recently opened up on the We Need To Talk podcast about his real-life relationship structure, where he explained that wife No. 1 is always “the Queen,” all partners must respect each other, and communication is the only way the system works.

“She’s the reason you even got one, two or three,” Akon said about his first wife.

But here’s the part that stands out:

only HE is allowed to have multiple partners.

The 53-year-old artist also claims this lifestyle actually creates more balance inside the family because responsibilities are shared between several women.

Now, reports claim his relationships are spread across different cities and countries, with separate homes and different lifestyles depending on the partner.

And despite all the structure, one detail still surprises:

his longtime wife Tomeka Thiam filed for divorce after nearly 30 years together.

Akon still believes many men naturally want this kind of setup.
