WWE fans are still arguing about what happened between Cody Rhodes and Gunther in Italy

At Clash in Italy, Cody retained his WWE Championship after hitting Cross Rhodes and scoring the pin over Gunther.

But there was one huge problem…

Replay footage appeared to show Gunther’s foot under the bottom rope before the referee even started counting — something that normally should stop a pinfall.

The decision stood, Cody kept the title, and the crowd immediately started debating whether Gunther had just been robbed.

What’s interesting is that Cody didn’t run from the controversy afterward.

He admitted he saw the replay and even said Gunther deserves a rematch if he wants one.

Which means this rivalry may be far from over.
