Michael Jackson’s former bodyguard just revealed why the King of Pop used to wear tape on his nose
And according to him, it wasn’t just about appearance.
Matt Fiddes, who worked with Jackson for years, said the tape, masks, sunglasses and fedora were all part of Michael’s ability to control attention around him.
“He knew how to play the media and keep relevant,” Fiddes claimed.
He even said the nose tape was “all staged” and that Jackson wanted people to think his nose was “falling off” — when it was actually allergy tape.
Wild detail:
Fiddes also claimed Michael wanted his life to be “the greatest mystery on Earth.”
Did anyone understand fame better than Jackson?
