Surprised and intrigued, Revilla decided to stop and pay heed to the desperate dog. Following the canine, he was led off the beaten path and towards something that left him utterly shocked.
Unexpected Discovery
In what seemed to be an isolated dumpsite, something was stirring on the ground, wrapped in a brown towel. Reports from The Dodo indicated that Revilla was taken aback by the sight – it was an infant, alive but abandoned, in a place that was incredibly remote as it was high up in the mountains.
The baby was vulnerable, alone, and the immediacy of the situation sank in.
Efforts Against the Clock
Grasping the gravity of the situation, Revilla quickly scooped the baby up and raced down the mountain towards the nearest police station. The concerned authorities alerted the Department of Social Welfare, which promptly took the baby into its care.

The dog, Blacky, had a home and a caring owner. The owner, upon learning of their mission, led them to his residence where Blacky lived with his owner and three other dogs. There was gratitude and relief. Blacky was not a stray as supposed but was well cared for by his human.

Upon meeting the family, it became evident that despite their love for their dogs, they were in dire need. Even though their resources were strained, the dogs were cherished and looked after as family members.

The acknowledgment brought tears of joy to the owner’s eyes and was a well-deserved recognition of his dedication to his dogs.
